Let the Hunger Games begin!
Oh. My. Gosh. Last book in the trilogy (unless she pulls a Scott Westerfeld and redefines the word "trilogy", which I hope she does). I have gotten the code for a countdown clock. YAY!

I got a job!
So now I am working the front desk at the local inn. I still don't foresee myself on the Blue Lake International Exchange Choir Tour 2011, but... it'll be nice to have some pocket money. And I get to work with all my friends. YAY! So that is my exciting story for today. Hope you all enjoyed.
P.S. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I haven't really had anything too interesting to write about.

lucky
I never really realized until today how lucky I am to live right by Lake Michigan. 'Cause back in May, a friend who had just gotten back from Hawaii was telling me this story about how that flight attendant had been raving about the sunset over the ocean and how pretty it was when there wasn't anything in the way. No trees, no grass, just cool, clean water. And he replied, "Why is it so cool? It's the same as it is over Lake Michigan..." Then he realized that not everyone gets to live on a lake this pretty. So, that was kind of an anticlimactic story. But that's not the point. The point is, I think people are taking it for granted. How about we don't bottle all the water in the lake and sell it to people from Arizona? How about we just enjoy it? They can move here if they want the water so bad. That's my topic of the day... I think that I can stop saying rant or rave, because I should hope that it's not that hard to tell. And you all are pretty smart. I think.

MLIA
So I am really sorry I haven't posted anything in a long time. Not that I have any faithful readers anyway... :) BUT I have been at camp. And that is my excuse. And it actually is pretty good, considering there is no Internet (let alone permitted laptop usage) at Blue Lake. But I am not going to apologize again.
Anyway, I really didn't know what to write about, but I felt like I should at least write something. I have been surfing MLIA and have found some really good ones lately. So I will post them on here. Because I have no talent of my own for writing. Here you go. Enjoy!
"Today I made peanut butter cookies with a recipe that said it would make 36 cookies. I made 37. MLIA."
"Today, I thought it would be fun to wear my Hydrogen shirt to science class. Much to my surprise, the science teacher was wearing the same thing. We bonded. MLIA."
"Today, in Science class my teacher asked us what we thought of when we heard the word "evolution". I thought of Pokemon, but I didn't say anything. MLIA."
"Today, I renamed my iPod "This ship" just for the pleasure of seeing the phrase "This ship is syncing"... MLIA."
"Today I ate a Tootsie Pop. It took 473 licks to get to the Tootsie Roll center. You're welcome, world. MLIA."
"Today, I was proposed to through MLIA. I said yes. MLIA."
"Today, my boss passed me in the hall at work and asked me "Do you have a sec?". I was trying to be flippant and replied "I have tons of secs". We both pretended I didn't say that. MLIA."
"Today, I filled a Windex bottle with blue Gatorade. I then sprayed it into my mouth in front of my mother. She began to panic and scream and get hysterical. I thought it was funny. She didn't. MLIA."
"Today, I was in a store pretending to be a mannequin. I saw a little girl running around as her mom tried to leave, yelling, "I haven't said goodbye to everyone!" She proceeded to run down the line of mannequins, hugging them all. When she got to me, I hugged her back. I've never heard anyone scream so hard. MLIA."
Well, that was fun. Rave, maybe?
